No, the impact point or pit will still be visible. However, it will be dull and not as shiny as before. The finished pit will look like a small smudge on the windshield. Also, from certain angles you will faintly see the cracks but rest assured that they are in fact filled with high quality resin.
When doing repairs, we shoot for a 70% to 90% clarity.
Yes! In most cases, your full coverage insurance will cover the full cost of the repair with NO deductible and not increasing your rate.
We currently do no offer windshield replacement at this location.
We use a high quality resin to fill in the chip and cracks. After the chip or crack has been injected and cured in a repair, you’re left with a small surface “pit.” We fill this with a pit filler resin creating a smooth and seamless finish.
Resin we use;
- Formulated for maximum clarity and strength (up to 34% stronger than other leading brands)
- Independently-tested to meet and exceed national and international industry standards, including ANSI, NWRA, BSI, and AS/NZS
- We have it in two viscosities to work well in both mild and extreme climates
- We have three different tints to complement every type of break
